Apulia Film Commission hosted a buzzing press conference showcasing the results of EuroScreen. The highlights of the project included the achievements of the work in film and tourism in the region and the results of the EuroScreen research commissioned by the partnership. The research looked at the location placement value that films and TV productions generate for the locations featuring in these screen productions.

Apulia is one of the case studies in the research and the location placement value for the region was significant.

The TV series Braccialetti rossi (television series, 2014) generated a fantastic value in free advertising online, amounting to €8.8m. The feature films Che bella giornata (2011) generated €1.1m and Mine vaganti (2010) was worth €1.7m in online equivalent online advertising value.

The press conference was well attended, 30 delegates from the media, film and tourism industry too part.
