The Film tourism – 150% of film in the region conference is dedicated to the use of the popularity of film and the locations used in film to build tourist products. During the two-day meeting, specialists in film production, place marketing, and tourism will try to define and order the terms describing various aspects and mutual benefits resulting from the marriage of tourism and film. They will serve the analysis of specific examples of building branded tourist products on the basis of films and TV series shot in Poland and across the world.

Panels dedicated to the filming of Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List in Krakow (this year marks the 20th anniversary of the film’s production) will have a special place in the conference’s programme. Personalities such as: Ewa Braun, Allan Starski, Lew Rywin, Magdalena Sroka, and Professor Tadeusz Lubelski have confirmed their participation in this part of the conference.

Euroscreen will be represented by Colette Geraghty (Film London), Maria Månsson (Lund University)  and Michał Rzucidło ( Rzeszow Regional Development Agency).
